INSTANT  MIX  DHOKLA
Dhokla is a vegetarian dish and very famous in Maharashtra and Gujarat. It is made by fermenting mixture of gram flour (besan), water, Baking Powder etc. Dhokla can be eaten for breakfast, as a main course, as a side dish or as a snack. It can usually be bought from a sweet shop. Rice and chickpeas, or besan in some recipes, in the ratio 4:1 is soaked overnight. The mixture is ground and this paste is fermented for four to five hours. This is spiced by adding chilli pepper, ginger, and baking soda. Different lentils like black grams, also known as urad dal, can also be substituted for chickpeas. As this is Instant dhokla mix so we have removed fermentation process.

How to do?

  1. Ingredients Required:- 1 bowl gram flour,1 teaspoon citric acid, ½ teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon sodium bicarbonate, 1 ½ teaspoon sugar, Pinch of yellow color, 1 teaspoon salt.
  2. Take a empty vessel & tablespoon.
  3. Take 1 bowl of gram flour.
  4. Add citric acid.
  5. Add baking powder
  6. Add sodium bicarbonate
  7. Add colour
  8. Add salt
  9. Add sugar
  10. Mix it well by spoon
  11. Again mix it well in mixer
  12. Take whole mixture in vessel
  13. Fill it into polythene bag
  14. Seal it air tightly
  15. Now your instant mix dhokla is ready for sale.
