• IBT in 122 schools. • INDUSA Practical Training Institute (INDUSAPTI) is online platform of various educational resources. VA developed various Power point, video, manuals on rural technologies and made it available on www.learningwhiledoing.in • www.dsttara.in : This website is developed to promote various appropriate technologies developed by DST core supported organizations. • D‐I‐Y Lab: Vigyan Ashram is working on developing D‐I‐Y (Do it yourself) Lab.

Introduction to Basic Technology (IBT) 1 Day a week for Grade 8,9,10
The aim was to help students connect academic education to daily life, to develop vocational interests, aptitudes and allow self exploration and more importantly to make students enterprising.

'Vigyan Ashram' - Science Studio started by Dr. S.S. Kalbag at Pabal
A drought prone village in India where students were dropping out from schools and there was rural to urban migration
Diploma in Basic Rural Technology (DBRT) 1 year Residential Program
In this one year residential program any student who had studied till 8th grade could get admission on a first-come basis. It started with engaging high school drop outs. In this multi skill program students are given training in agriculture and animal husbandry, home and health (sewing, food processing and rural lab), engineering (fabrication & construction), energy & environment (electrical motor rewinding, survey techniques, solar / biogas etc.), computing.
